The RU is the Swiss federal subsidy for new PV installations. Its amount depends on the Pronovo scale and the configuration; use the official tariff calculator before counting it in your budget. It is paid only once, after commissioning and validation of the file.

Prepare the technical data from the quote. For typical small PV installations of less than 100 kWp, the PRU is removed after commissioning; large facilities and local aid may follow another schedule.

For Vaud, Valais, Fribourg, Bern or Jura, do not count on a general residential PV package without official confirmation.

A deduction can reduce cost depending on the tax year, canton, building and your circumstances. Have the tax office or adviser confirm eligible costs, grants to deduct and any carry-forwards. A deduction reduces taxable income; it does not reimburse the full expense or constitute a paid grant.
