Technical explanation

The IRR reflects the marginal cost of production on the spot market. It varies depending on the GRD and the years. The RU Pronovo and the TRI are two independent and cumulative mechanisms.

Swiss context

TRI 2026: SIG (GE) ≈ CHF 0.085/kWh, Romande Energie (VD) ≈ CHF 0.082/kWh. Consult the annual tariff annex of your GRD.

FAQs — Network injection

Is my GRD obliged to buy back my surplus?+

Systems within the statutory scope benefit from an acceptance and remuneration obligation. 100 kWp is not a general upper limit for that obligation. Ask the grid operator to confirm how your system is classified and which connection conditions apply.

Can we negotiate a better injection price?+

The producer and grid operator can agree on remuneration. If no agreement is reached, statutory fallback rules apply. For 2026, the Swiss Federal Office of Energy refers to the quarterly reference market price and applicable minimum remuneration. Check guarantees of origin separately.
